Encinitas Amenities

No mention of amenities in Encinitas is complete without mentioning the star attraction, the Pacific Ocean. Surfing reigns supreme in this coastal enclave. In fact, National Geographic once named Encinitas among the World’s 20 Best Surf Towns (the only So Cal town to make the list).

In doing so, they aptly summed up most of what Encinitas has to offer: a “magical sum of consistent waves, inviting accommodations, friendly locals, fun nightlife, delicious food, and plenty of activities should the ocean go flat.”

Not a surfer? You’ll still find lots of ways to remain active when you buy a home in Encinitas. Here you’ll find 18 city parks, multiple hiking trails, a swim center, golf course and numerous gyms.

Fitness isn’t just for bodies in Encinitas, but for the mind and spirit as well. To prove it, you’ll find no shortage of yoga studios in town and Encinitas is home to the Encinitas Ashram Center and Meditation Gardens.

Speaking of gardens, when you buy a home in Encinitas you’ll have plenty of out-of-town guests and one place they shouldn’t miss is the 30-acre Quail Botanical Gardens.

Downtown Encinitas offers plenty of bars, eateries, galleries and shopping.

If you’ll be commuting from your Encinitas home you’ll be glad to know that the COASTER commuter train stops right in town.
